The goal of Van der Valk is to continue growing and innovating, which is why new construction plans are being made to achieve this. The future of Van der Valk Hotel 's-Hertogenbosch – Vught

Van der Valk Hotel 's-Hertogenbosch – Vught is constantly evolving. Therefore, plans for a new hotel construction are on the table. After various participation meetings where local residents and interested parties had the opportunity to contribute to the new zoning plan, the foundation of the brand-new zoning plan for a new hotel construction is on the table, and guests will eventually be able to experience a brand-new Van der Valk Hotel with 200 new rooms. Additionally, a large underground parking lot with over 700 parking spaces, an extensive fitness area, a large terrace, 15 Valk Vitaal rooms, and a business center are also included in our plans.

Unique to the new zoning plan of Van der Valk Hotel 's-Hertogenbosch – Vught is the possibility of long-term stays and living. In addition to building new hotel rooms, the new zoning plan also includes the creation of 100 long-stay apartments where guests can stay for extended periods. There is also a focus on housing with 42 social rental homes and owner-occupied homes under 250,000 euros. With these innovations, we aim to make your stay even more enjoyable.

Sustainable renovation

Van der Valk Hotel 's-Hertogenbosch – Vught is always seeking the highest possible quality for all guests with its new construction plans. A luxurious appearance and many facilities are, of course, good reasons to choose Van der Valk Hotel 's-Hertogenbosch – Vught. However, at Hotel 's-Hertogenbosch – Vught, we also place great value on sustainability alongside good quality and many facilities. Therefore, we aim to consider the environment as much as possible with the plans and the renovation. We are convinced that quality and sustainability can seamlessly go hand in hand.

Thus we aim to take the landscape environment of the hotel into account while building. Therefore, we want to construct the hotel in the style of the surroundings with plenty of greenery, plants, and natural materials. For instance, the parking garage will be underground with lots of water above it. The Heunwiel will be used as an energy source. The construction will not only be gas-free but also circular and bio-based.

In addition, we consider the local flora and fauna during construction, and climate-neutral building and testing the design against the applicable environmental legislation are also high on our list.

The latest updates

Completion of participation meetings

The new construction process requires a lot of preparation and time. An important step in this process for us is the participation meetings. During these participation meetings, we engaged in discussions with a broad group of stakeholders about the hotel's plans and presented the drawings. On December 7, 2022, we completed all participation meetings for the hotel's expansion. This concludes our dialogue round, and our plans need to be approved by the municipality. We thank all participants for their contributions and hope to hear more soon.
