Vughtse Heide

In the earlier centuries Vught was often the decor of attacks on ’s-Hertogenbosch. Discover the three lunettest that were built in the 19th century in this area to absorb an attack from Young Belgium. When you walk the forest paths along the canals of these fortifications you will also pass “Kamp Vught”.

Walking through the forests you will reach the last piece of heather.

On the Loonsebaan you will find a sculpture of 2 fighting knights in horsebacks that commemorates the last Medieval knight battle in 1600 in this area.

You can park your car on the other site of the Brasserie 155, adress is Loonsebaan 155. It  is an 8 minute drive from the hotel.
